Armando was born and raised as a Mayan Kaqchikel in San Marcos La Laguna, a small and beautiful village from Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. His love and passion for the art of coffee over the past 8 years make him an expert in regional coffee. Today, we have the opportunity to share, learn, and enjoy his coffee in the AvivA space.

Pantaleon a Mayan Kaqchikel from San Marcos La Laguna is an expert in woodworking; he has dedicated his life to carpentry and is one of the best in the Lake Atitlán region. We had the opportunity to work together and create the beds that AvivA provides for its guests.

Santiago is a Mayan Kaqchikel from one of the most beautiful and authentic villages around Lake Atitlan, San Antonio Palopó. His art work of weaving and creating beautiful designs on textiles is very incredible and unique and he has dedicated 35 years of his life to it. At AvivA we are creating and growing our relationship with talented locals.
